癌と免疫療法
癌という病気はいままで不治の病とされてきました。しかし、現代ではそうではなくなってきたのです。
医学の進歩によってさまざま治療法が考え出されてきました。
その一つとして免疫療法があるのです。
免疫療法は癌治療の最先端と言えるものです。
免疫という機能は人間に本来備わっているものです。
いわゆる「免疫力」のことですが、これを高めることによってさまざまな病気になることを抑えています。
いろいろや薬物など外部からの作用ではなく、体内からの作用によって病気を治療しようという考え方ですから、良い結果も得られるということになります。
たとえば抗癌剤の投与は癌の治療において、よく行われている治療法です。
この抗癌剤では強い副作用があることも周知の事実でしょう。
免疫療法では、投薬による副作用というものは存在しませんから、体質によって治療法を変えなければならないということもありません。
また、手術などを考えた場合ではそのための体力が必要です。
高齢であったり、体力が衰えたりした人の場合は手術を断念せざるを得ないケースもあります。
そのような制限は免疫療法においてはないと言ってもいいでしょう。
癌に対して有効な療法と言えるのです。
実際に免疫療法は癌の治療法として考えられています。
免疫療法と言ってもいろいろな方法があります。
また、免疫療法を行なうための設備を持っているところは、それほど多くありません。
しかし、徐々にその治療法は充実していくと考えられます。
これからの治療法として広がっていくのではないでしょうか。
